    • I have a huge lot of vintage Polka albums; I am guessing 300 or more. All LPs, and all in excellent condition. Collection is from a couple who traveled to polka festivals in Michigan-Ohio-Pennsylvania during the 1970s-1980s. Every festival that had a live band and sold a record, is in this collection. Call: 330-244-0504. Price is negotiable.

    • Guys and Gals...

Join East Side Tony's Deluxe Tones on Sunday June 6, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for the 3rd Annual Polish Festival @ Tyson's Tavern. Call 410-342-2112 for more info.

    • Glad that the Guys from Polka Family aren't too injured, after their Wreck Saturday night/Sunday Morning! Hope you guys get back real fast! Polkatively Yours Allan "Abe" Carrick Uniontown, Pa.

    • Was trying to get on the chat, I'm from Souithwest Pa., and I'm a Drummer!

    • I want to express my gratitude to Rob Savickis for all he has done to help promote Polka Music. He has done a great job with this web site. Thanks Rob.

    • Dear Jumpin'Jersey: I also grew up at Polonia Acres. My lithuanian grandmother refered to the place as "The Polish Camp" My lithuanian father was a patrolman on the Randolph Police force. He was often assigned to walk a beat at Polonia acres during the polka events. It was in the early 60's. I was only about five years old at the time, but I remember the festive atmosphere, music, beer, food, dancing competitions etc. The parties seemed very ethnic oriented. Yes, I've been there, and I remember the good old days. The site is probably now converted to housing subdivisions. Thanks for bringing up the subject. Best regards.

    • Hi Jumpin Jersey, do you use that handle because you are origionally from Jersey? John Prytko Jr. is a horn man that may be interested in playing with you. His phone is 860-550-0213. Email mohegansun2007@yahoo.com. Ernie Daigle knows just about every polka musician there is, he could possible give you some contacts, his number is 413-592-0367 Email ernied1953@verizon.net Did you write Mizalkou, a very haunting, interesting and enjoyable song. What is the venue for the Dec 22, Uxbridge Christmas show? My email is johnzz@cox.net. I would have emailed you directly with this info, but I would have had to join Bandmix to get it. You may want to considering adding a polka to the list of songs on bandmix.

    • Johnz...The polka scene is sorta bleak here in So VT.. but I'm working on it...Been doing a lot of grant gigs in MA. and haven't had time to market just my polka material for dancers, not that there's many venues either. I'll put up some sort of web-page when I have time... meanwhile I have a profile at www.bandmix.com/jumpin jersey/ with mp3 demos of different styles.

    • Stephen, I saw the Bud Hudenski band at the Mariad Ballroom in Mendon MA many possibly around 30 years ago. What a powerful band with some of the greatest druming ever. The druming on the recordings is exceptional, solid hard driving and pushed the band to a new level. You are one of the best.

      John

    • Hello great site I enjoy it very much. I am the former Drummer with Bud Hundenski and the Corsairs, The Jimmy Sturr Band also the PolkaTones from Canton Ohio although I am semi-retired I love the eastern style Polka bands. Good luck. Stephen
